Health Information Technology - Student at ComputerHealth Information Technology (HIT)
Degree: Associate of Applied Science

The two-year Health Information Technology (HIT) program is dedicated to producing competent health care professionals. The HIT curriculum includes general education courses, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, medical terminology, legal aspects of health care, health care statistics, health care privacy and security, medical coding, electronic health records, and practical experience in approved health care facilities. All graduates from the HIT program are eligible to sit for the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential.

Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).


Nursing StudentBi-Level Nursing
Degree: Associate of Applied Science*

The Bi-level Nursing Program admits beginning nursing students to Level I / PN each fall in the day program (1 year) and each spring in the evening/weekend program (2 years), based on admission testing scores, completion of prerequisites, GPA, and completed written application. Successful completion of Level I / PN leads to certification and application for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse*. All Level I / PN students, meeting academic requirements, progress to Level II / RN. Additionally, all Level II / RN students must have attained LPN status by the mid-term of the fall semester to continue in the program.

*Successful completion of Level II / RN leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and application for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Level II / RN also accepts a limited number of already practicing LPN鈥檚 who must meet specific admission requirements including prerequisites, IV certification, minimum mobility exam testing scores, and GPA. 
Level I / PN and Level II / RN have full approval from the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN).


Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) StudentOccupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Currently not accepting applications.
Degree: Associate of Applied Science

Occupational therapy services are provided for the purpose of promoting health and wellness to those who have or are at risk for developing an illness, injury, disease, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) focus on 鈥渄oing鈥 the occupations or activities that are meaningful to the individual; creating solutions that assure living life to its fullest. Core curriculum includes: theory and foundations of OTA, professional development, health and disease, exposure to therapeutic milieu across the life span, hands-on skill labs, and clinical experiences required for students to graduate with entry level OTA skills and become eligible to sit for the National Board Certification exam for Occupational Therapy. 

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).


Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) StudentPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Currently not accepting applications.
Degree: Associate of Applied Science

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist (PT). PTAs assist the PTs in providing interventions such as exercise instruction and progression, manual therapy, mobility and functional training, and physical agents to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.  Students admitted to the PTA program will complete courses in rehabilitation theory, laboratory practice, and clinical experiences in the community, all of which will prepare the student to work in any of a variety of healthcare settings. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Physical Therapy Examination to achieve the licensure required to work as a PTA.

Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).


Radiologic Technology StudentRadiologic Technology
Degree: Associate of Applied Science or Certificate

The Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology prepares graduates to perform x-ray examinations in a wide variety of settings. The radiographer applies complex techniques to create radiographic images used to diagnose health problems. Upon completion of the program, the graduate is eligible for certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, the Radiologic Technology program offers a certificate track for select individuals already holding and Associate Degree or higher.

Accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.

Additionally, this report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety, including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, 澳彩开奖网 Campus Police Department enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. Also included are crime statistics for three previous calendar years which were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the school, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.
