Apprenticeship

What is an Apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is career training that is industry-driven. Apprenticeships provide participants with paid job experience, education from on the job and classroom training, and results in industry-recognized credentials. Participation in apprenticeship provides participants a career path, relevant work experience, skill gain, and a competitive salary. Employers who use apprenticeship programs find that 94% of apprentices who complete a training program retain employment. For every $1 spent on an apprenticeship, employers receive approximately $1.50 return on investment.
