CCAMPIS

Child Care Access Means Parents in School  Program is a federally-funded grant that helps parents in college who qualify for Pell grants. The program covers a portion of child care costs for children 2 to 12 years of age.


What is the purpose of the Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Program?

The purpose of CCAMPIS is to support the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of campus-based child care services.

What are the requirements?

Pell eligible, enrolled child ages 2-12

How is the amount determined?

Amount is determined on an individual basis–number of children, ages, pell award, etc

How do I apply?

Please submit a completed CCAMPIS application along with an official Student Schedule/Bill, in person, to the designated CCAMPIS representative Stephanie Cage, Director of the Early Childhood Center. Stephanie's office is located on the Hillsboro campus in the Early Childhood Center.

The CCAMPIS applications can be submitted within the first two weeks of the semester, and will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis, and throughout the semester until funds are exhausted.

Do I need to reapply each semester?

Yes, an application and new class schedule must be submitted

Is there an application window?

The grant application is available each semester and will close when funds are exhausted

How will I know if I've received the CCAMPIS grant?

Once the completed CCAMPIS application is received, applicants will be notified of their eligibility status within 1-3 business days via their Jeffco email address.
